Electrical Engineer

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and optimising B2C installations, providing technical support to project teams, contributing to project -specific Bill of Quantities (BOQ), overseeing system commissioning, and delivering technical training to enhance team skills.

Key Responsibilities

System Design & Optimisation
  • Design electrical systems for B2C installations (PV and others), ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Optimise system performance by analysing design parameters, energy output, and efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions.
  • Coordinate with OEMs to ensure compliance of designs and find optimal solutions to customer requirements
Technical Support & BOQ Preparation
  • Provide technical support to installation teams, troubleshooting electrical and system-related issues.
  • Prepare and review Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for specific projects, ensuring accurate material estimation.
  • Assist in evaluating new technologies and equipment to improve installation quality and efficiency.
  • Lead the aftersales service of the B2C department – identify, troubleshoot and solve customer technical issues. → Coordinate with OEMs to troubleshoot technical issues
Training and Knowledge Transfer
  • Conduct training sessions for technicians and site supervisors on best practices, safety
  • protocols, and new technologies.
  • Develop technical documentation and guidelines to support on-site teams.
  • Ensure the team is up to date with the latest industry advancements and regulatory changes.
Commissioning & Quality Assurance
  • Supervise, with the assistance of OEM support team, the commissioning of solar PV systems, ensuring they operate according to design specifications.
  • Perform system testing and validation, troubleshooting any performance issues before handover.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the installation and commissioning phases.

Requirements

  • Technical Expertise – Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical design, and grid integration.
  • Project Management – Experience in BOQ preparation, material planning, and project execution.
  • Training & Communication – Ability to mentor and train field teams effectively.
  • Software Proficiency – Familiarity with electrical design software (AutoCAD, PVsyst, or similar).
  • Driving license
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similiar position
  • Problem-Solving Skills – Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.
  • Attention to Detail – Strong focus on accuracy, quality, and regulatory compliance.
