Senior Accounts Officer
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management:
- Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information
- Maintain and balance general ledger accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
- Reconcile accounts by researching and resolving discrepancies
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare financial statements and reports by gathering and summarizing account information
- Maintain financial records by filing document
Budgeting and Auditing:

- Assist in the preparation of budgets by gathering and analyzing financial information
- Support audits by providing necessary information and assistance to auditors
- Policy Development:
- Develop and document accounting policies and procedures
- Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options
Client and Team Interaction:
- Communicate with clients regarding billing and payments
- Collaborate with other professionals in the accounting department to ensure accurate financial records
Requirements
- Degree BSC Accounting or Minimum ACCA Level 2
- Minimum work experience of 5 years in relevant field
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel, etc).
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and willingness to meet deadlines on a consistent basis
